When asked where I’m from, I answer, “heaven.”

And that’s where I’m heading too! This life’s journey is full of twists and turns, ups and downs. I want to share some of what I’m learning with you! Ready to laugh with me through it all?

21 more fun tidbits:

  • 22 is my favorite number (thus 21 more tidbits… 1+21=22). If you ask my children, I’ll be “22 and a few” til I die.
  • My husband and are being taught by 4 little “queens in training.”
  • Cookies and I have a love love love relationship. I love cookies. I love to make them, eat them and give them away. If I haven’t made cookies in a three week period of time, something is not right. Cookies and I have been good friends for a loooong time and I don’t see that changing anytime soon.
  • If it requires wearing a t-shirt, jeans, sneakers and a baseball cap, I’m there.
  • My right eyebrow is my dominant one. I can’t raise my left one without scrunching up my whole face.
  • Mosquitoes are my least favorite.
  • My husband is my favorite.
  • I have a joke I like to tell, not because it’s necessarily funny, but because I can’t get through it without laughing myself.
  • I have a very literal sense of humor …as in I know right where my humerus bone is located.
  • My journal is one of my most prized possessions, second only to my scriptures.
  • I would love for our kids to design their very own treehouse and for my husband to build it.
  • Sometimes I think I married Tim “The Toolman” Taylor.
  • Other times, I know I did…
  • Reading is one of my favorite pastimes. Reading in a cozy nook with a blanket enhances the experience.
  • Culinary mysteries (like this one), proper romance novels, self help/motivational and historical true stories are my favorite genres.
  • As a gymnast, I could twist and flip like you wouldn’t believe… You wouldn’t believe it because now I can’t sit on a swing without feeling queasy.
  • I did a cartwheel 9 months pregnant with our second daughter (and everything else I was told would get labor to start)- it didn’t work.
  • Spanish is my second language; English is my first.
  • My eyes are drawn to people’s “chin faces.”
  • Falling at random is a game I like to play with my husband. He actually does really well; I’ve only hit the ground once.
  • I don’t mind public speaking; what I don’t like is waiting for my turn.

That’s a pretty good summation of this kooky cookie; this literal, spiritual daughter of God.
